Our website is now live!

The Ceasefire4Good website is now finished, and live. Consider this our launch. We are raring to go!

We are just a small, simple idea to start to bring an end to the war on drugs. How do wars end? The first step is usually a ceasefire.

How can you help? It couldn’t be easier. Like, share, and retweet our posts, and content. All we wish to do is get the word out. And that word is: Ceasefire!

We advocate a rather simple, yet effective strategy to begin the process of ending the war on drugs. We wish to decriminalise people by ending all arrests for simple, personal possession. We recommend polite, and courteous civil disobedience. And that begins with all arrests ending.

We want to create the space for a genuine dialogue around drug law reform. That doesn’t seem possible, when the largest stakeholders in that conversation, drug users, are excluded because of the threat of arrest, prosecution, and imprisonment. Only when that threat is removed, can we have a genuine, truthful and productive discussion.

Please follow us on Twitter, @Ceasefire4Good, and use our #hashtag #Ceasefire4Good. And don’t forget to check back here on the website too!

Thank you.

Welcome to The Ceasefire Initiative – Ceasefire4Good!

Our site is still under construction, please excuse the mess. Once we have a handle on things, we will set out our immediate plans. As the website is live, but we are still working on it, consider this our very soft launch. We’re here, hello.

The first step to end any war is a ceasefire. The war on drugs is the world’s longest running war, and like any war, the best way to end it, is to first agree a ceasefire. Only after that, can we begin to imagine, and then build, a lasting peace.

Don’t worry, we don’t want your money, but we do absolutely want your support! There will be more info soon, on how anyone, anywhere, can help us.

You can look at our full introduction on the this page.

The best way to stay up to date with what’s happening here is to follow us on Twitter:
